Terms Of Service
GUIDELINES IN PLACE TO ENSURE PROPER EXPECTATIONS & UNDERSTANDING
By ordering services from Bridges & Brooms, the client agrees to the following Service Agreement for cleaning needs. We have these guidelines in place to ensure a smooth and efficient service is completed by us at HomeShift.
APPOINTMENT REQUESTS:
To ensure the best results of the appointment, please be sure the property is ready prior to the scheduled appointment.
By confirming your appointment, you agree to the readiness expectations and policy: you agree that the home will be ready to clean on the scheduled date and time you have selected. This includes picking up any toys, putting personal belongings away, dishes are done, laundry is picked up and put in its designated spot.
Bridges & Brooms is not required to do dishes or laundry, unless this services is added on and discussed with management beforehand.
For liability purposes, Bridges & Brooms does not handle any of the prep for the readiness of the property, including but not limited to, decluttering or moving furniture.
TIME, CANCELLATIONS, AND WEATHER POLICY:
By scheduling your appointment, you agree to Bridges & Brooms Cleaning Company, cancellation/reschedule policy:
For cancellations please notify Bridges & Brooms via text or phone call 48 hours prior to appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
Should you cancel after the 48 hour mark you will be charged 50% of your service fee.
If you cancel 24 hours or later you will be charged 100% of your service fee.
For all reschedules please reschedule 48 hours prior to the appointment. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fee. If it is a same day reschedule, it will be classified as a cancellation.
If you decide to reschedule your appointment and cancel that reschedule you will be charged $100 regardless of when you notify Bridges & Brooms.
PAYMENT POLICY:
Payment is kindly requested upon completion of the service and receipt of the invoice. We recognize that immediate payment may not always be possible. Therefore, we offer a two-day grace period during which you will receive two email reminders and one text reminder. Following this grace period, a late fee of $10 per day will be applied for each additional day the payment is delayed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring timely transactions.
To streamline the payment process and avoid any late fees, we encourage you to add a card to your client file. This not only ensures timely payments but also makes your experience more convenient, eliminating the need to input card information for each transaction. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we're here to assist you with any questions or concerns.
SAFETY:
We need to be able to work freely and without distractions. Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously, but we cannot assume liability for the safety of others while cleaning your home. This includes children and pets. Be advised that if we are subject to distractions that affect our ability to work in our normal fashion or speed we reserve the right to charge for our extra time spent in the home.
If for any reason an employee of Bridges & Brooms feels that their personal safety is in danger enough to leave the job site, due to actions by the customer, guests of the customers or others at the job site, the Bridges & Brooms customer will still remain liable for the full cost of the job.
Although we are professionals, we are not miracle workers. Sometimes we are called in too late to correct damage that is already done to some surfaces. Other items may take a couple of cleanings to look their very best. In cases of extremely cluttered areas or surfaces we reserve the right to use our prerogative to skip those areas in order to avoid damaging items or hurting ourselves.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
We love them, however we do ask that you call the office in advance to assure that your cleaning team, who is responsible for cleaning several homes each working day, will be able to accommodate your special requests without impacting our other clients needs for arrival times, etc.
REFUNDS:
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. While we do not offer refunds on services that have been provided, we will return & re-clean any areas of concern that are reported to us within 48 hrs of our cleaning, free of charge.
REFERRALS:
Please let your friends and family know about us. If someone you refer to us uses our services just once you will earn a free hour of service for the referral. Additionally, if that referral continues to use our services for 1 year you will earn a free cleaning (valued up to $100) after their 1 yr anniversary. Please email our office to let us know who you have referred so that we can properly track and credit you.
SEVERABILITY:
In the event that any provisions of this Agreement are held to be invalid or unenforceable in the whole or in part, all other provisions will nevertheless continue to be valid and enforceable with the invalid or enforceable parts severed from the remainder of this Agreement.
